Terms of Service

By accessing or using MedSought ("the Platform"), you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

These terms apply to all users of the Platform, including patients, pharmacists, caregivers, and administrators.

MedSought is a digital healthcare discovery platform that enables patients to locate nearby pharmacies, check medicine availability, access educational drug information, and manage medication schedules through intelligent reminders.

MedSought does not provide medical diagnoses, prescriptions, or clinical consultations. All AI-generated content on the Platform is for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify MedSought immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

MedSought reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are found to have provided false information during registration.

You may use MedSought solely for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure
• Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or misleading content
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Platform without prior written consent
• Impersonate any person, pharmacy, or entity on the Platform

MedSought's AI assistant and drug information features are provided for general educational purposes only. The content does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider before making any medical decisions.

MedSought shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from reliance on information provided through the Platform.

By submitting any content to the Platform (including reviews, queries, or profile information), you grant MedSought a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute such content for the purposes of operating and improving the Platform.

Pharmacies listed on MedSought must be duly registered and licensed under the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN). Submission of a valid PCN license number is required during onboarding. MedSought reserves the right to verify, suspend, or remove any pharmacy listing at its sole discretion.

Pharmacy owners are solely responsible for the accuracy of their inventory data, including stock availability, pricing, and opening hours. MedSought does not guarantee the accuracy of pharmacy-supplied data.

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on the Platform are the exclusive property of MedSought or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without prior written consent.

MedSought reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
